The 2009 Acura TSX Sport Car

The 2009 Acura TSX leads the way in safety with its new Advanced Compatibility EngineeringTM (ACETM) body structure. Engineered into the TSX model for the first time, ACETM improves the dispersal of frontal crash energy through the use of load-bearing frame structures that better match the TSX with other vehicles of different sizes and with different bumper heights. Simply put, ACETM helps maximize the effectiveness of the TSX's front crumple zones, better dispersing crash forces before they reach the passenger compartment.

The 2009 Acura TSX is covered by a comprehensive 4-year/50,000 mile bumper-to-bumper limited warranty and a 6-year/70,000 mile powertrain limited warranty. Additional benefits of ownership include Acura Total Luxury Care (TLC) that provides free 24-hour roadside assistance, concierge service and trip routing.

The 2010 Acura TL Featuring the 3.5L V6

The new 2010 models of the Acura TL are revolutionizing the way we look at a four door family sedan. No longer is the sedan looked upon as boring and uninspired, particularly when you get your hands on this new Acura. The base model packs a serious punch: It's powered by a 3.5L V6 with 280 horsepower, which is more than enough to make the kids in the back seat squeal with delight when you roll onto the throttle.

This high-revving engine finds its peak horsepower at 6200 RPM (with a peak torque of 254 ft/lbs right around 5000 RPM), making it a whole lot of fun to drive around the city and on the highway. Best yet, unlike models that find their peaks lower in the RPM range, you can keep the power at bay when you need to keep a lower profile. It's really the best of both worlds.

Now, if you can believe it, that's simply the base model. The 2010 Acura TL SH comes with a beefier 3.7L 305 horsepower V6, with just a little bit more torque added into the mix (273 ft/lbs versus 254 in the base model). This gives the driver a bit more passing ability on the highway than the base model, which can certainly get you out of trouble in a hurry if you ever find yourself in the need for that extra push of power.

With the extra power comes a new drive train to keep that power under control: The Acura TL SH comes with all wheel drive standard, which makes driving in the snow and rain just that much easier and safer.

The available 2010 Acura TL engine options are enough to give any driver a grin that just won't go away. See your local dealer for more.

Italian Sushi: Acura / Honda NSX-Based Lamborghini Diablo Replica for Sale

Found on ebay Motors is this...work of art: a Lambo'd-out Acura NSX. Located in Branson, Missouri, this orange Frankenstein can be yours for the low-low price of $49,000. The title is labeled as clear, it's got 94,000 miles on it, and (not surprisingly) there's no warranty. Not exactly our cup of tea, but we've seen much, much worse. Photo gallery after the jump.

2011 Acura TSX Sport Wagon to be Unveiled at New York Auto Show

Back in October of 2009, Acura told us about its plans to expand its TSX lineup with a more practical station wagon variant in the fall of 2010. Today, the Japanese automaker announced that we'll get our first look at what is essentially the North American market version of the European Honda Accord Tourer (pictured here) at the New York International Auto Show on March 31.

"The TSX Sport Wagon will offer a new solution to modern utility needs with its balanced and efficient performance coupled with bold styling and versatile cargo capabilities," said Acura in brief press release without revealing any other details on the car.

However, we believe it's safe to assume that the TSX Sport Wagon will be offered with the same 201HP 2.4-liter four cylinder and 280HP 3.5-liter V6 powertrains already available on the sedan version here in the States.
